The SPTC announces the SPTC15.2 Request for Proposals for Research, Education, and Outreach Support. The competition is open to Oklahoma colleges and universities as lead applicants.

Eligible Applicants: Academic institutions and private sector in Region 6.
Target Awards Notification Date: November 20, 2015 | Target Earliest Contract Start Date: January 1, 2016

Intent to Apply Form Deadline: Thursday, August 20, 2015, 5:00 p.m. (CDST)
An Intent to Apply Form must be filed for each proposal by the above deadline to be eligible to submit the proposal.
Application Deadline: Thursday, September 24, 2015, 5:00 p.m. (CDST)

PROPOSAL TOPICS:

The RFP contains five research proposal topics provided by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation as well as the opportunity to submit education/outreach proposals.

The SPTC is presenting workshops to assist with proposal preparation; the workshops last approximately two hours.

 The presentations use the WebEx service at no charge to allow participants to attend from their office or in a group setting with a projector. The WebEx connection information for a specific workshop is given upon registration.

We encourage remote viewers for the WebEx presentation to form a group and to project the slides onto a screen since we have limited connections. The group can then use one computer microphone to ask questions. When more than one computer is used in a room, the microphone must be muted except when asking questions or use headphones with a personal microphone.
