Roundtable Discussion on Tribal Transportation and Climate Change

Abstract: This roundtable discussion seeks to identify transportation challenges and needs of the tribal and indigenous communities nationally, especially such communities in US DOT Region 6 (Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana). Following a brief introduction, each panel member will make a short presentation setting up the stage for engagement of the participants. Impacts of severe weather and climate extremes on tribal transportation challenges and needs will be discussed.
