Mr. Singh is the Director of University Grants Programs at the US Department of Transportation. He has more than thirty-five years of experience within the transportation industry, involved in a diverse range of surface transportation programs and projects, from remote sensing technologies, transportation planning, traffic and highway engineering, and intelligent transportation systems, to supply chain management and transportation logistics. His experience, both in private and public sectors, covers areas of planning, operations, design, and management of transportation projects internationally. 

Mr. Singh is a registered licensed professional engineer; he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, India and his M.S. from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
