Abstract: This webinar will provide an agency perspective on resilience as it applies to pavements with an overview of the FAST Act requirements for states to incorporate resilience in their Transportation Asset Management Plans, and how states are changing their asset design and management processes to reflect these new requirements. Incorporation of resilience considerations into the pavement discipline is important to understand the potential changes to estimated life-cycle and several tools, studies, and reports will be shared as resources. The speaker will share her perspective on resilience from both a state and federal level.
