2026 Tribal Safety Summits

In August 2026, the Cheyenne Arapaho Nation, along with SPTC, the Association of General Contractors, ACCEL-RT, and other academic, transportation, and law enforcement agencies held three Tribal Safety Summits in rural communities across Oklahoma. Over 400 people in all attended the summits, increasing awareness of personal and community safety and gaining understanding of autonomous vehicles and drones.
