As a summer intern, Stephen was granted the opportunity to assist in the design of an American Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition project which consisted of designing bus shelters and improving access to riders of an already existing bus transit system in Espanola, New Mexico. Stephen assisted in field inspections for a sign inventory project, which consisted of measuring replaced traffic sign heights and verifying the placement of new signs. Stephen also performed tasks general to multiples projects. These tasks include but not limited to; CADD design edits, field reviews to gather necessary information needed for calculations, back checking revised drawings in the QA/QC process, scanning full size drawings, printing/assembling plan sets of all sizes, and delivering plan sets and/or proposals.
